The Case For Joining a
Ski Club
Here's a short quiz.
- Dou you wan to meet diverse single people and or couples?
- Want to have fun?
- Like travel?
- Take cruises?
- Participate in outdoor activities and sports?
- Socialize?
- Go to parties and dances?
If so, then consider joining a ski club - the one group that does
it all! Usually with several hundred members over a wide age range, they
are more that just about skiing. Ski clubs maybe the best overall show in
town, with something for almost everyone - single or coupled.
There's always something happening and you are always in good company.
With annual dues of about $25 to $60 per year, ski clubs are a bargain. In
addition to a great social life and new friends, new members are
introduced to outdoor activities that may stay with them for a lifetime.
If you ski, ski clubs offer lots of ski trips at very reasonable
prices: the western US, Canada, Europe and even the southern hemisphere -
and some often closer to home.
Do you want to learn how to ski? Many members learned how to ski when
they joined their ski club and today they ski and travel worldwide to
enjoy the sport and be with their friends.
Besides skiing, ski clubs offer co-ed sports like volleyball, tennis,
golf, softball, etc. In warm weather, they organize hikes, bike rides,
camping, boating and white water rafting. And often, many clubs will offer
these activities that will include kids' participation.
Today ski clubs definitely offer a lot more than just skiing and,
because of the large number and diversity of their memberships and the
varied activities in which they like to participate, it's often the best
scene in town - whether you are single or a married couple.
