Did you ever want to go watch remote control model airplanes
fly? Skymasters is a local (home base Bald Mountain Recreational Area)
model flying club and is hosting two upcoming events. These events are
called "Float Fly" events because the lake is the
runway. Last year there was great weather for these events. Bring
chairs, sunglasses, and camera. If the weather is bad, only the bold
will fly. The parks are also great to bike or hike while you are there.
I plan on having a plane ready to fly on one of these two days. Gives me
the jitters thinking about it.
