The facilities at Hawk Woods were excellent-individual four-person cabins, open-all-night showers and flush toilets, a two-story lodge big enough for a square dance, 10-foot diameter fire pit, a lake, a marsh boardwalk, hiking trails, and total privacy.
People came and went all day, but only a half-dozen hearty souls (and a few critters) spent the night.
The eats were good, and there may have been a drop or two of golden elixir that got passed around.
This keeper event will be ardently anticipated next season.
