THE AREA'S LARGEST INDOOR RINK OPENS ITS DOORS FOR NINTH SEASON DEC. 2 PONTIAC, Mich., Nov. 30, 2000 - In-line skating fans don't have to put away their skates for the winter. On Saturday, Dec. 2, the Pontiac Silverdome will kick off its ninth season of In-line skating, when 93. 1'DRQ Elias Brothers' Big Boy and Stay In-Line present Roll-in-the-Silverdome.
Skaters of all ages and skill levels are invited to experience the world's largest in-line, indoor skating rink. Skating takes place on the Third Level Concourse, via the West gate, on the following dates:
• Dec. 2,3,7-10,14-17,29-31
• Jan. 11-14,18-21,25-28
• Feb. 1-4,8-11,17-18
• March 15-18,22-25,29-31
• April 1, 12-14,19-22,26-28
Weekday hours are 6 - 9:30 p.m. and Weekend hours are 12 - 6 p.m. only.
Dec. 29 - Jan. 14 dates may vary depending on NFL playoff schedule.
All dates and times are subject to change. Interested parties can call the
Roll-in-the-Silverdome Hotline at (248) 456-1646 to confirm dates and times.
Non-skaters also may take advantage of the program and use the Club Level Concourse to walk or jog on the same dates as Roll-in-the-Silverdome.
