FRIDAY NIGHT HARNESS RACING

Friday, May 18^th, a group of 23 attended an evening of dining, harness racing, and a good ole’ time at Hazel Park. We arrived with our fingers crossed and much anticipation of a night of excitement and fun. Our group had track-side seating in the clubhouse, and the dinner was served prior to the start of racing.

We had winners from the beginning, including a Perfecta in the first race.

The night continued with the GM Ski Club Feature Race being run in the ninth. Some of us had our photo taken with the winning horse, Babe’s Five Six; and the night ended…some of us with lighter pockets than others, but all in all good feelings of spending an enjoyable evening with friends and some new faces too.
